VIP & Co is a Melbourne business consultancy that cares more about results than reports.
We work with founders and established businesses on strategy, operations, administration, people, brand and marketing. We don’t specialise in just one of these, because in most businesses they’re all tangled up together.
Who we are
We’re a small team based in Melbourne, and between us we’ve spent years working across just about every part of a business.
We’ve started and run successful businesses of our own, so we know what it’s like to be the one making the calls and paying the bills. We’ve also played a big part in the success of a number of brands and services you’ve probably heard of.
That mix is why we don’t stick to one specialty. We’ve dealt with the strategy, the marketing, the systems, the staff and the day-to-day problems ourselves, and we bring all of that to every business we work with.
How we see business
What looks like one issue is usually tied to a few others. Fix one in isolation and it tends to come back.
So we look at how the whole business works before we change anything.
What guides our work
We look past the obvious problem to see the whole business.
Before we recommend anything, we spend time understanding how things really work: the people, the systems, the customers and where you want to go. That way we fix what’s actually causing the problem.
Advice is only useful if you can act on it.
Our recommendations fit your budget, your team and your timing. If something isn’t realistic for where you are right now, we’ll say so.
There’s no template that works for everyone.
Every business has its own history, customers and way of doing things. Sometimes that means a small, focused project. Sometimes it means a bigger piece of work. We’ll work out which with you.
We don’t stop at the plan.
A lot of good plans never get past the meeting where they were agreed. If you want us to, we’ll stay on to help set things up, support your team and make sure the changes actually happen.
